Clare has a lifelong interest in agriculture and has had many years of experience working and engaging with farming clients across Australia.

 

Clare spent her early career working for the South Australian Department of Agriculture, before moving to Orange to become a Rural Financial Counsellor in the 1990’s, the days of high interest rates, low commodity prices and bank foreclosures! After 7 years in Orange, Clare relocated to the big smoke to work for Ridley Animal Nutrition where she spent much of her time working with Ridley’s animal nutrition experts and the feed mill managers across Victoria and NSW to improve business efficiencies.

 

A move to Canberra and, at the time, with two young children to care for, Clare embarked on a new career as a Financial Planner, where she helped numerous clients to achieve their goals and navigate the complex world of investments, superannuation, and insurance. A burning desire to return to agriculture, saw Clare take on a part time role as a farm succession facilitator working with farming families across Australia and the establishment of her own financial coaching business.

 

Clare is passionate about helping people move through the barriers that often inhibit them from achieving their goals and dreams. She has significant experience in business and financial management, financial planning, farm succession facilitation and financial coaching. She is also a trained negotiator with a keen interest in communication and human behaviour. Clare has a degree in Agricultural Economics from UNE, Diplomas of Financial Planning and Financial Counselling and life coaching qualifications. 

 

Clare and her partner Rick live with their two adult sons and adult daughter. In her spare time, Clare loves listening to podcasts, horse riding, bushwalking and exploring this amazing world we live in!!
